David Beisel Stables summer camp is designed to give children ages 6-15 the opportunity to experience the joys and responsibilities
of caring for their own horse or pony. We hope to help your child build confidence and self-esteem, as well as meet new friends
along the way!
Campers will participate in two riding lessons per day. We will also go on trail rides weather permitting. Students
will learn about proper grooming and horse care, how to take care of tack and equipment, safety skills and basic horse first
aid, and horse nutrition. Games, crafts, videos and demonstrations are used to teach about our equine friends.
On the final day of camp, parents are encouraged to watch the mock horse show demonstration. Ribbons and Tee shirts will
be awarded!
